Day 1: Saturday – Departure from Capo d’Orlando and Arrival in Vulcano, Thermal Relaxation
Your journey begins in the afternoon from the tourist port of Capo d’Orlando. After being welcomed aboard your Mysailcruise catamaran, we will set sail for Vulcano.
- Afternoon: Departure from Capo d’Orlando. Relaxing sail towards the island of Vulcano, the gateway to the Aeolian Islands, which we will reach in the late afternoon.
- Evening: Time to settle in on board and enjoy the first moments of relaxation. If conditions and time allow, you can already immerse yourself in the famous Sulphurous Mud Pools or swim in the Hot Waters near Porto di Levante. Dinner on board, admiring the sunset and the island lights, or at a typical restaurant in Vulcano Porto, savoring local flavors. Overnight at anchor or in port in Vulcano.
Day 2: Sunday – Exploring Panarea and Its Islets
Sailing north, we head towards Panarea, the most glamorous and chic island of the Aeolian Islands, with its iconic surrounding islets.
- Morning: Heading towards Panarea. Our skipper will lead you on an unforgettable tour among the islets of Dattilo and Lisca Bianca, where you can swim in waters heated by submarine fumaroles, a true natural jacuzzi! Then, heading towards the majestic islet of Basiluzzo, with its crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkeling and diving.
- Afternoon: Anchoring in the famous Cala Junco, a natural amphitheater of rare beauty, ideal for swimming and relaxing. Possibility to disembark for a stroll to the charming Prehistoric Village of Capo Milazzese.
- Evening: Stop in the lively port of San Pietro in Panarea. Dinner ashore at one of the renowned restaurants or, for the more social, an aperitif and evening out at the island’s trendy spots. Return and overnight on board at anchor or in port in Panarea.
Day 3: Monday – The Thrill of Stromboli and the Sciara del Fuoco
A full day dedicated to Stromboli, the island that never sleeps.
- Morning: Sailing towards Stromboli. During the day, we will explore its volcanic coasts, stopping at the coves of Ficogrande or Forgia Vecchia for a refreshing swim in the dark waters.
- Afternoon: Time to explore the picturesque village of San Vincenzo on land, with its white houses and flowery alleys. For adventure lovers, it’s possible to organize a guided trek to the volcano (with authorized guides and depending on conditions, bookable in advance).
- Evening: The highlight of the day: as the sun sets, the catamaran will position itself in front of the Sciara del Fuoco. You will admire the breathtaking spectacle of volcanic eruptions cascading into the sea from a privileged perspective, an unforgettable experience in complete safety. After the show, return towards Panarea for the night, at the skipper’s discretion.
Day 4: Tuesday – Relaxation in Salina and Malvasia
We head towards Salina, the greenest and most lush island of the Aeolian Islands.
- Morning: Heading towards Salina. Possibility of a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Pollara Bay, the iconic crescent that served as a backdrop for “Il Postino.”
- Afternoon: On-land exploration of the village of Malfa, with its breathtaking views, or a stop in Lingua, famous for its brackish lake and delicious artisanal granitas. You can also visit one of Salina’s renowned wineries for a Malvasia tasting, the famous local passito wine.
- Evening: Dinner on board or at a Salina restaurant, savoring the island’s typical products. Overnight at anchor in Salina, perhaps right in front of Pollara to enjoy its unique moonlit atmosphere.
Day 5: Wednesday – The Authenticity of Salina and the Route to Filicudi
Still a bit of Salina, with its natural beauties and authentic atmosphere, before setting sail for the wildest island.
- Morning: Further exploration of Salina’s coasts, perhaps with a stop at Scario Beach or Rinella, or an excursion to the picturesque village of Santa Marina Salina, with its boutiques and lively port.
- Pomeriggio: Free time for a trek on Monte Fossa delle Felci (the highest peak in the Aeolian Islands, with 360-degree panoramic views) or simply to enjoy some sun and relaxation on board in a quiet cove.
- Late Afternoon: We will set sail from Salina with a course for Filicudi.
- Evening: Dinner on board, in a secluded cove of Filicudi, such as Pecorini or near Filicudi Porto, where we will spend the night at anchor or on a buoy, enjoying the tranquility and an unforgettable starry sky.
Day 6: Thursday – Wild Filicudi, Sailing Towards Alicudi and Repositioning to Lipari
A day amidst the unspoiled nature of the more remote islands and a scenic sailing trip.
- Morning: Exploration of Filicudi’s coasts. Visit to the spectacular Grotta del Bue Marino (Grotto of the Sea Ox), famous for its light plays, and the impressive La Canna sea stack, a symbol of the island. Swimming and snorkeling in pristine waters.
- Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Departure from Filicudi for a beautiful sail towards Alicudi. If weather conditions and time permit, we can admire its wild coasts up close, take a quick swim, or briefly disembark at Alicudi Porto to savor its absolute peace.
- Afternoon: We will begin the long repositioning sail towards Lipari, the largest and most central island of the archipelago, to optimize the timing for the final return.
- Evening: Arrival in Lipari. Dinner on board, admiring the evening lights of Lipari town, with the possibility of going ashore for an evening stroll in the lively historical center. Overnight at anchor in Lipari.
Day 7: Friday – Lipari, Marine Wonders, and Final Return to Capo d’Orlando
The last day of the cruise will be dedicated to the marine beauties of Lipari before the final return to Capo d’Orlando.
- Morning: After an early breakfast, you’ll have time for a brief exploration of Lipari’s historical center or a final coffee in the lively town atmosphere. Soon after, we will set sail for the famous Pumice Quarries, where you can swim in their turquoise, crystal-clear waters that contrast with the dazzling white of the rock faces.
- Late Morning/Early Afternoon: We’ll then sail towards the majestic Faraglioni of Lipari to admire their imposing shapes. Here, we’ll anchor for lunch on board, enjoying a last unforgettable swim in this iconic setting.
- Pomeriggio: Around 3:00 PM, we’ll bid farewell to the Aeolian Islands and begin our return journey towards Capo d’Orlando. Enjoy the final hours of sailing, reliving the incredible moments of your Aeolian week. The return and disembarkation in Capo d’Orlando are scheduled by 6:00 PM, with the boat safely in port.
